Electronic components warehouse
Component/part sourcing and kitting
Sourcing electronic components is a crucial stage in contract manufacturing at BaZeKo. A well-prepared component kit allows for quick and error-free assembly. Thanks to this, we reduce costs associated with errors, downtime, or necessary corrections.
Before we manufacture or receive the boards, the warehouse will have verified the stock of required components, replenished any shortages if necessary, and prepared a complete kit of components for release to assembly.
To ensure suitable and cost-effective components, we cooperate with a wide range of electronic component suppliers, both from Poland, Europe, and the Far East.
Warehousing of client-consigned components/parts
As a flexible electronics manufacturer, we adapt to client requirements. Hence our offer includes the warehousing and management of electronic components consigned by the client. The client’s inventory is maintained and managed as a separate warehouse but under the same rigorous rules. The registration of component receipts and issues is carried out on an ongoing basis, so the client always knows the status of their inventory.
Component/part warehouse management
At BaZeKo, component warehouse management includes an integrated process of receiving, storing, and preparing for assembly in accordance with the technological documentation. The goals of our component warehouse management system are:
- cost minimization
- maintaining stock levels that ensure constant access to components
- advance planning of deliveries, especially for hard-to-find components or those with long lead times
- BOM (Bill of Materials) optimization
- supply chain tracking
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to provide my own components for the production of my order?
No, we offer a full component sourcing (kitting) service. We cooperate with suppliers from Poland, Europe, and the Far East, which allows us to optimize purchasing costs (BOM) and guarantee the continuity of supplies, relieving the client of this obligation.
Can I store my component inventory with you for future productions?
Yes, we run a dedicated warehouse for client-consigned components. These resources are recorded in our system, and the client has full insight into the inventory levels. This is an ideal solution for companies planning cyclic production (buffer stock).
How do you protect yourselves against the lack of availability of key components on the market?
We use advanced forward planning of deliveries and maintain inventory levels for key projects. Thanks to supplier diversification and supply chain monitoring, we minimize the risk of production downtime resulting from market shortages.
