About Us
The foundations of BaZeKo were laid in 1986. Over all these years, the Polish electronics market has changed beyond recognition, and we have evolved along with it. Today, we combine unique, “analog” reliability and work ethic with the latest digital technologies.
Our philosophy
We believe in long-term partnerships. Many companies that started with us from prototypes today manufacture thousands of devices a year at BaZeKo. We are proud that our printed circuit boards and the final products assembled by us operate in the following industries: LED lighting, building automation, smart home, industrial automation, automotive, alarm systems, industrial electronics, the energy sector, IT, telecommunications, and the railway industry.
People and Standards
It is not only machines that create quality, but also the people who operate them. Our team regularly undergoes training in accordance with IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 guidelines, and our manufacturing and assembly service processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015. This ensures that every batch of goods leaving our plant in Łódź is as perfect as the first test piece.
As a Polish electronics manufacturer, BaZeKo not only has a modern machine park at its disposal, but also a team of over 30 employees, 60% of whom have over 15 years of experience in the industry.
Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)
Contract manufacturing of electronics in our version means above all: comprehensive service, timeliness and high quality of final products.
We begin order fulfilment by having our engineers verify the design in terms of production, and then we start manufacturing printed circuit boards, smoothly transitioning to SMT and THT assembly. In the meantime, we check and, if necessary, replenish our stock so that we can prepare the components in accordance with the BOM before the PCB reaches the assembly department. And all this in one plant.
A comprehensive service
Customers working with our company are guaranteed:
- checking the delivered design for errors and feasibility
- development of the project in terms of production
- making changes at the design-production stage
- technical documentation stored under strictly controlled conditions
- on-site production of single- and double-sided printed circuit boards
- supply of multilayer tiles
- assembly of components
- storage of components
- SMT assembly
- THT assembly
- electrical and functional tests
- mechanical assembly
- packaging
- delivery of the finished product according to customer specifications
Timeliness
Our top priority is to ensure timely deliveries in accordance with a pre-agreed schedule, enabling our customers to respond efficiently to market needs. Contract manufacturing of electronics by BaZeKo guarantees the timeliness and repeatability of each batch of goods. Proof of this is the fact that some customers have been loyal to our company for nearly 30 years.
High quality of final products
The high quality of our products is not only the result of thorough final inspection.
It is the sum of all activities carried out throughout the entire technological process, starting with the acceptance of deliveries, through intermediate inspection during the production of PCB boards (inspection of drilling parameters, inspection of the composition and purity of process chemicals, AOI inspection between individual processes), final electrical testing of the boards themselves, inspection of the first board during SMT and THT assembly, AOI inspection of the assembly, and finally electrical and functional testing.
Company history in a nutshell
1986
First steps in the production of single-sided printed circuit boards.
1993
Introduction to the production of double-sided boards with metallised holes.
2003
Launch of the first automatic SMD component assembly line.
2006
With the support of EU funds, we purchased our current headquarters, expanded our machine park and significantly modernised our technology. In the same year, we also introduced lead-free technology and electrical testing of tiles as standard.
2007
We are introducing comprehensive product preparation services, including functional testing and final packaging.
2010 - 2011
We have expanded our machine park with 3 drilling machines, 2 exposure units, 2 printers, Siemens assembly machines, and reflow soldering ovens.
2012 - 2014
As part of the EU-co-financed project ‘Implementation of innovative technology in the production and assembly of printed circuit boards at BaZeKo, resulting from research and development work’, we purchased additional machines, including two more Siemens machines, an electrical tester for boards, an AOI for assembled boards, and software for order processing and board production.
2013
We implement the ISO 9001 quality management system and undergo regular certification.
2015
At our request, the Łódź University of Technology has prepared a study on improved technology for the production of new printed circuit boards with a thickness of 0.3–0.8 mm, which will help us to modernise our machine park and production process in the near future in order to expand our product range.
2016
We have expanded our company’s production area by constructing a new building adjacent to the existing plant. As a result, this investment has allowed us to modernise both the tile production and assembly processes. The larger area has not only allowed us to increase our machine park, but also to improve the internal logistics organisation of the company.
2017
We have purchased and replaced machines in our machine park once again, both in the printed circuit board production and assembly departments (including another SMT assembly machine, AOI for the boards themselves, and an etching and stripping line).
2018
We have completed the modernisation of our photo processing, printing and exposure rooms, which involved renovating the rooms, replacing or supplementing the equipment, and installing a specially designed air conditioning system to maintain constant temperature and humidity conditions.
01.04.2019
Due to further development and reorganisation, BaZeKo has changed its legal status. A new company, BaZeKo Kociołek & Kociołek sp.j., has been established through transformation.
2020-2024
Further modernisation and expansion of the machine park for PCB production and assembly. Among other things, the introduction of another automatic exposure machine, automatic DEK printers and the launch of a fully automated chemical metallisation line.
2025
Commissioning of a new photovoltaic installation enabling us to generate energy covering almost 40% of our demand.
2026
Modernisation of the ventilation system in the electronic component assembly and storage department, including integration with a new air conditioning system that controls and ensures strict temperature and humidity parameters in the halls.
